Centre Jean-Jacques Gautier is the APT’s headquarters, constructed in 2012 on the site of the former office.
Designed and built by a consortium composed of Swiss architects Charpente Concept (Thomas Büchi) and GMAA, the Centre Jean-Jacques Gautier respects the principles of sustainable development. The certification Minergie guarantees that the building is environmentally sound and has highly effective energy consumption, without using fossil fuels like petrol, gas or coal. The Centre was built mainly using Swiss-certified wood.
Since July 2020, the Centre Jean-Jacques Gautier has hosted nine hives in partnership with the Association Printemps d'abeilles to support the important contribution of bees and promote the protection of urban biodiversity.
