Preventing torture and ill-treatment in the French-speaking world

The APT participated in the 6th Conference of International NGOs and Civil Society in the framework of the International Organisation of the Francophonie which took place from 15 to 17 May 2008 in Canada. The APT highlighted the need for better prevention of torture and ill-treatment in French-speaking countries and elaborated two documents for this event: Le rôle de la société civile francophone dans la prévention de la torture Les défis de la prévention de la torture et autres mauvais traitements dans le monde francophone
