Nomination of the Members of the Swiss National Preventive Mechanism

The APT welcomes the nomination on 21 October 2009 of the twelve members of the Swiss Commission for the Prevention of Torture, which will act as the Swiss National Preventive Mechanism under the Optional Protocol to the UN Convention against Torture.
