Geneva - three experts criticise police violence

The APT Visits Progamme officer, Barbara Bernath, contributed in her individual capacity to the drafting of a report mandated by the Geneva Parliament. This report, based on a petition of 200 detainees held in Champ-Dollon, the cantonal pre-trial prison, focuses on 3 aspects: police arrest, pre-trial detention and overcrowding in Champ-Dollon.
