In trialogue negotiations the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission are about to decide on the review of EU legislation regarding reception of asylum-seekers and the responsibility for their claims under the Dublin regulation. The APT, together with 165 European and national organisations, have submitted an appeal to the negotiators to adopt standards that protect asylum seekers from arbitrary detention as required under international refugee and human rights law.
