National Human Rights Commission (13)

National Human Rights Commissions are a type of National Human Rights Institution, according to the Paris Principles. They are usually headed by a number of members (commissioners). These institutions tend to have a general mandate to protect and promote human rights, including by investigating human rights violations, receiving complaints and making recommendations.
