Published on April 5 the state law that fixes the quantitative and describes positions for the State Mechanism for Prevention and Fight Against Torture in the State of Rondônia - MEPCT/RO. With this important step, Rondônia opens the way, as a pioneer state in the northern region and as the 3rd state of the federation, to constitute this agency throughout the country, and thus comply with state law 3.262 of 2013 and integrate the National System for the Prevention of Torture established by federal law.
