100 days after the new government took office, the National Committee for the Prevention and Fight against Torture (CNPCT) remains inactive by omission of the Federal government. In a letter addressed to the Civil House of the Presidency of the Republic, the APT urged the government to take urgent measures to proceed with the approval of the appointment of civil society entities with a seat on the Committee and ensure the regular operation of this collegial body.
